What helps when a barcode will not scan
Send the page you used, the settings you chose, and the number or text if you are happy to share it. Add the printer and scanner models if you know them. The file itself helps too, because it shows whether the bars or the print are the problem. Before you write, check the warnings under the preview and print the test sheet at 100 percent.
Things this site cannot help with
This site cannot issue, sell or look up barcode numbers, and it cannot recover a number you licensed. GS1 US handles those for US companies, and your local GS1 office handles them elsewhere. Questions about whether a retailer will accept your barcode go to that retailer.
Reporting a wrong figure
If a page has a wrong figure or a broken explanation, say which page and what you think is wrong. Add a source if you have one. Encoder mistakes get fixed first. The editorial policy explains how corrections are handled.
Privacy
Your message and address are kept as long as the conversation needs. If a correction came from it, they are kept for up to two years after, as the privacy policy says. The privacy policy has the details.
